Charles Heerey memorial Juniorate, Urualla, is a formative Secondary school belonging to the congregation of the sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mother of Christ. It is a special Secondary School where young girls are trained to be good Christians as well as respond to religious vocation as Reverend Sisters. The congregation was founded by late Archbishop Charles Heerey in 1937. It was his ardent desire that the congregation establish a centre for the physical, moral, social, academic and spiritual growth of young girls. This gave birth to the establishment of the Charles Heerey memorial Juniorate in January, 1971.
